Today's 'triers' can be tomorrow's winners

BSG Energade Kids Triathlon Series is all about participation

Having fun and getting children active is the name of the game when it comes to the Kids Triathlon Series and it has become the biggest sporting series in the country for children. Each participant will be a winner and will receive a medal, T-shirt and a goodie bag filled with fun stuff!

This year we have made an exciting change to the distances and have given the older kids a more challenging distance to conquer! We have also split the previous 9-14 age group to give more children the opportunity to be recognised. In addition, all 15 year old children will be eligible to enter in the Main series under the Open category, which is a great opportunity for young and upcoming triathletes to be identified.

The series will be held at seven venues throughout South Africa, on various Sunday mornings between October and December, with kids competing in the swim, cycle and run disciplines either as individuals, or as members of a team of two or three.

Safety is a top priority for the organisers who have plenty of experience in hosting triathlon events and will ensure that children compete in a secure environment with controlled access, secure routes and plenty of lifeguards and marshals.
